VoiceCash
কথায় কথায় হিসাব — just say it, and the AI keeps your books.
VoiceCash is a voice-first cash & bookkeeping app for Bangladesh's shopkeepers and small businesses. Instead of forms and columns, the owner simply speaks a transaction — "sold 5 kg rice for 300 taka, 100 on due" — and the app transcribes it, parses it with AI, and shows a clean, editable entry to confirm. Behind that one tap sits a full ledger: accounts, transfers, loans, reports and receipt scanning. A Flutter app on a Laravel backend, with a web superadmin panel.
Bookkeeping that happens the moment you say it.
A shopkeeper mid-sale can't stop to fill in an accounting form — so most don't, and the day's real numbers vanish into memory. VoiceCash removes the form entirely. The owner taps once, speaks a sentence in Bengali, and the app turns it into a structured transaction: amount, type, party, account and due, all filled in and ready to confirm.
Under the voice layer is a proper double-sided ledger. Every entry lands in an account; money moves between accounts with transfers; loans track what's borrowed and lent, with loan partners; and reports turn it all into charts the owner can actually read. A snapshot of a paper receipt can be scanned and parsed the same way. There's even an AI query — ask "how much did I sell this week?" and get an answer from your own books.
The mobile app is built in Flutter (Android, iOS, web) with a Laravel API and a web CRM/superadmin panel. Login is phone-first with OTP and a PIN; push notifications, audit trails and multi-business support round it out.
Why voice, and why now.
The thinking behind VoiceCash — who keeps no records, why typing fails them, and what finally makes a tool like this usable.
Millions keep no books
Bangladesh's shops, stalls and small traders run almost entirely on memory and a notebook. There is a vast market of owners who want to know their numbers but never manage to record them consistently.
Typing is the barrier
Traditional accounting apps ask for forms, categories and columns — too slow and too fiddly mid-sale. The data entry itself is the reason these tools get abandoned within a week.
Voice removes the friction
Speaking a sentence is faster than any form and needs no literacy in menus. With on-device speech and AI parsing, an entry takes one tap and a few spoken words — low enough friction that it actually gets used.
The gap we filled
Enterprise accounting is far too heavy for a corner shop, and notebook apps don't understand money. VoiceCash sits in between: as easy as talking, but backed by a real ledger, reports and an upgrade path for a growing business.
Everything a small business actually needs.
Voice-to-transaction
Speak a sentence and the app transcribes it, then AI parses amount, type, party and account into a ready-to-confirm entry.
AI-parsed preview
Every parsed entry is shown for review before it saves — the owner stays in control, correcting a field with a tap if needed.
Receipt scanning
Snap a paper receipt and the same AI pipeline reads it and drafts the transaction — no manual copying of figures.
Accounts & transfers
Multiple accounts — cash, bank, mobile money — with money movement between them tracked as clean transfers.
Loans & partners
Track what's borrowed and lent, with loan partners and running balances, so credit never gets lost in memory.
Reports & analytics
Income, expense and balance trends in clear charts — a real picture of the business at a glance, day, week or month.
Ask your books (AI query)
Ask a plain question — "how much profit this month?" — and get an answer drawn straight from your own transactions.
OTP + PIN security
Phone-first login with one-time passcodes and a PIN lock, plus an audit trail behind every change.
Web superadmin panel
A Laravel-based web CRM/superadmin for oversight across businesses, with push notifications and notices to users.
Built for people who'd rather talk than type.
