MediTourism
From first form to final follow-up — a patient's whole journey, managed.
MediTourism is a management platform for medical-tourism agencies that guide Bangladeshi patients abroad for treatment. Behind every patient is a long, unforgiving paper trail — visa references, embassy submissions, tickets, hospital reports, follow-ups — where one missed date can strand a sick person. MediTourism turns that trail into a tracked pipeline, where every case sits in a named stage and the system itself remembers what happens next.
A pipeline that remembers for you.
Sending a patient abroad for treatment is a relay of deadlines across two countries: the medical-visa invitation, Ayush and VIL reference numbers, the IVAC submission, the visa itself, tickets, arrival, the hospital's UHID, discharge and after-care. Agencies traditionally run this on spreadsheets and memory — and every missed reminder is a patient calling in distress.
MediTourism models the whole journey as a 14-stage pipeline — from application approval through Waiting-for-VIL, IVAC submission and visa issue to Ready-to-Fly, Traveled, Reported, Discharged and Follow-Up. Each stage knows its own required documents, reference numbers and dates, and each fires its own automatic reminders: re-check IVAC after 7 days, SMS the patient 3 hours before departure, prompt contact every 15 days after they report to hospital, follow up a month after discharge.
Around the pipeline sits the agency itself: agents under managers with targets and area assignments mapped to Bangladesh's real geography (division → district → upazila → union), hospital/department/doctor directories across destination cities, video-consultation and appointment booking, airport pickup and other services, co-patient attendants, and income/expense accounting with invoices — so operations and money live in the same system.
Why this product, and why now.
The context that shaped MediTourism — a huge patient flow managed almost entirely by hand.
A massive patient flow
Hundreds of thousands of Bangladeshis travel abroad every year for treatment — India above all. Around that flow sits an entire industry of agencies, facilitators and partner hospitals.
The pain: deadlines and the sick
Visa references, embassy dates, tickets and hospital reports — tracked on spreadsheets for patients who are, by definition, unwell. A missed IVAC update or expiring date isn't an inconvenience; it's a person's treatment delayed.
Agencies run on agents
Cases come in through field agents spread across the country, under managers with targets. Without a system there is no visibility into who is performing, which areas produce cases, or where cases stall.
The gap we filled
Generic CRMs don't speak this domain — Ayush refs, IVAC, UHID, co-patients, follow-up medicine. MediTourism is built around the actual workflow, in the actual vocabulary, for the agencies doing this work.
Everything a facilitation agency runs on.

Stage-aware notifications: 7-day IVAC re-checks, SMS three hours before departure, 15-day patient contact after reporting, monthly post-discharge follow-up.
